Michael brings over twenty years of experience in the Asset Management business and has an extensive background in Alternative Strategies. He has worked with every major investment firm as well as independent advisors and Registered Investment Advisors. Michael’s specialty is assisting advisors and money managers in understanding and positioning alternative assets to help reduce risk for the end client.

Most recently, Michael was a Senior Financial Consultant at TD Ameritrade in downtown Seattle, where he assisted six hundred high-net-worth households representing over $1 Billion in assets under management. He helped clients navigate the markets in one of the most hard-hit areas during the pandemic. As an Advisor, he had to be very knowledgeable about many asset classes as well as various portfolio management strategies.

Prior to TD Ameritrade, he was a Regional Manager at ALPS Portfolio Solutions, where he covered five states: WA, OR, ID, MT, and AK. In this role, he represented multiple mainstream products and various alternative strategies. He established himself as an expert in alternative products that help mitigate risk alongside a core portfolio.
Mr. Zarlengo is an expert in explaining investment concepts and providing client presentations. He has a deep understanding of Behavioral Finance.

Mr. Zarlengo has a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Colorado as well as a Master’s of Science in Finance from the University of Denver. He also attained the Certified Investment Analyst Designation from the Wharton School of Finance at the University of Pennsylvania.
